The Lost City Marathon kicks off from the ancient Maya city of Palenque, México.

The race features both a marathon and a half marathon. The awe-inspiring route follows jungle trails, majestic rivers, picturesque ranches and small villages. It's a challenging race crossing various surfaces and steep hills. 

Palenque is nestled in the dense rainforests of the Chiapas region on the Yucatan peninsula, surrounded by lush vegetation and breathtaking beauty.

It provides a fascinating glimpse into the religious and cultural practices of the Maya people which thrived in this once vibrant and powerful city, famous for its well preserved and impressive architecture of the Maya civilization. It has now been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its historical and cultural significance. 
 

A rich birdlife and howler monkeys dominate the jungle and in the open plains hundreds of species of butterflies live. 

Only 10% of this magnificent city has been fully discovered. Lets embark on this adventure together!

Since its inception in 1999, the Great Wall Marathon has become revered as one of the world’s most challenging marathons.

Throughout the years, it has developed from mere 350 runners to a sell-out event of 2500 runners, novices and experienced alike.

The route takes you along the spectacular Great Wall in the venue of Huangyaguan, threading through local villages as you are cheered on by its residents giving you the boost needed for its hilly routes and challenging last steps of the tower (5,164 to be exact!).

But this run is not only about the race. It is about the adventure of traveling together with other running-minded spirits, friends and family.

Its about experiencing Chinese culture, getting to know this fantastic country, its people and local cuisine.

The picturesque town of Ilulissat, provides a colorful backdrop as the Icefjord Midnight Marathon winds its way to the UNESCO-accredited Ilulissat Icefjord.

With ice streching out as far as the eyes can see, embark on a true trail run over rocky terrain and past impressive icebergs that glitter under nocturnal sunlight.

It's one of our most popular race-packages yet, and not without a reason. You will be staying in accommodations overlooking the renowned Disko-Bay, waking up with its icy-giants floating by.

As part of the entry we will take you on a tour to our favorite places around Ilulissat, where you get to explore some of the most remote corners of the world. 

The Big Five Marathon in South Africa is held among the wildlife of the African savannah.

The Big Five Marathon takes you on an adventure through the South-Africa's Savannah of Entabeni. 

In one of the most spectacular game reserves in Africa the challenging route crosses right through the habitat of the African game, including the famous Big Five: Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion and Leopard.

No fences, no rivers, nothing at all separates the runners from the African wildlife!

But It’s not only about the race. Our entry packages give you a chance to explore the many sides of South Africa; its rich culture, mouth-watering cuisine, and spectacular nature. We will take you to some of our favorite places, to be shared with fellow running-minded travelers, friends, and family.

Set near Lake Mývatn, at the divergent boundaries of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, the Iceland Volcano Marathon route will be run directly in the North Volcanic Zone.

It’s a hot bed of geothermal activity with geysers, hot springs, and lava rock – what’s more, the volcanic zone is still very much active!

With the massive Hverfjall crater as the focus of the route, runners will pass through soft, black volcanic sand the route traverses single-track trail, plains of lava rock, and several minor volcano craters.  

Runners can choose between marathon, half marathon or quarter marathon.

Starting in the ancient cave city of Petra, the Petra Desert Marathon leads runners past the incredible tombs, mountainside carvings, and caves before venturing into the arid, lunar-like landscapes of the Jordanian desert.

Rich in history, culture and scenic nature, Jordan offers its visitors superb possibilities for an exciting Marathon adventure.

We offer a variety of race extensions if you want to continue your adventure with us. Be it adventurous hikes or ancient history,  there’s no wrong answer.

In the all-new World’s Fastest Marathon, runners will dash down a paved route that makes a sweeping, serpentine-like descent through the Sierra Nevada mountains into the historic city of Granada.

With a nearly 100% downhill route (less than 1km is without decline), an altitude drop of 1,938 meters (6,358 feet) and a total average descent of 4.6%, this race will keep your legs light and feet flying toward the finish line… FAST.

Ice as far as the eye can see. Incredibly fresh air. Musk oxen and arctic foxes on the stark landscape of the arctic tundra.

Yes, we are in one of the most remote corners of the world: Greenland. Feel the soft crunch of snow beneath your shoes while running through the arctic desert and over the Greenland Ice Sheet as you immerse yourself in rare and exceptional natural beauty... what more could we ask for?

The Polar Circle Marathon - often referred to as "the coolest marathon on Earth" - takes place in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. The endless ice and arctic tundra of this vast country are the backdrop for this unusual race, in which runners race through the soundless arctic desert past glacier tongues and moraine landscapes.

This is a rare opportunity to visit one of the most remote corners of the world while daring to take part in an extremely challenging running event.

Runners can choose between the marathon Saturday or half marathon Sunday or run both by joining the Polar Bear Challenge!
